Former NBA All-Star Baron Davis Joins “Dancing With the Stars” Season 34

NEW YORK (Sept. 3, 2025) - Former NBA All-Star Baron Davis has officially been announced as a contestant on Season 34 of ABC’s hit competition series Dancing With the Stars, the show confirmed today on Good Morning America.
Davis, who enjoyed a 13-year NBA career highlighted by two All-Star selections and a historic 2007 playoff upset with the Golden State Warriors, will trade his signature crossover for ballroom choreography when the new season premieres Tuesday, Sept. 16, on ABC and Disney+.
The Los Angeles native-also known for founding the lifestyle brand No Label-will be paired with professional dancer Britt Stewart. Davis joins a star-studded lineup that includes Olympic gymnast Jordan Chiles, wellness influencer Hilaria Baldwin, and social media personality Alix Earle, among others.
Reflecting on the announcement, Davis quipped during the live broadcast, “I’m used to taking charges on the court-now I just hope I don’t take one on the dance floor.” His participation marks the latest post-retirement venture for the two-time All-Star, who has previously pursued business interests and media appearances.
Season 34 of Dancing With the Stars will be co-hosted by Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough, with Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough, and Bruno Tonioli returning as judges. The competition, celebrating its milestone 20th anniversary, airs live each Tuesday at 8 p.m. ET on ABC and streams next-day on Hulu.
