Dead by Daylight Launches PTB for Chapter 37 “Sinister Grace,” Unveils New Killer The Krasue

VANCOUVER, Sept. 3, 2025 - Behaviour Interactive today released the Public Test Build (PTB) for Dead by Daylight’s Chapter 37, Sinister Grace, officially introducing The Krasue, a terrifying new Killer drawn from Thai folklore, and Survivor Vee Boonyasak.

In a press release accompanying the PTB drop, Behaviour detailed the harrowing origin of Burong Sukapat, an aspiring opera singer who accepted a Faustian bargain for fame-only to awaken as the disembodied head-and-entrails monster known as The Krasue. By day, Burong appears human; by night, she detaches from her body, soaring as a floating head trailing viscera, driven by insatiable hunger.

Players can experience The Krasue’s signature power, Unbodied Flesh, toggling between Body Form (32 m Terror Radius) and a faster Head Form (40 m Terror Radius) via the Corporeal Weave ability. In Head Form, Intestinal Whip lashes out with organs to fill Survivors’ Leech Meters, while in Body Form, Regurgitate spews a Leeching Gland that fully charges their meter. Survivors afflicted by Leeched face Broken status and accelerated injury if the meter reaches its peak.

The Krasue brings three new perks to the Fog:

  • Ravenous: Hook tokens build to expose Survivors for up to 60 seconds.
  • Wandering Eye: Chasing one Survivor reveals other injured Survivors’ auras.
  • Hex: Overture of Doom: Curses generators to grant Undetectable status and apply Terror Radius when repaired.

Sinister Grace also introduces survivor Vee Boonyasak, a band drummer wielding perks that enhance healing speed, teamwork, and stealth.

Behaviour hosted a live presentation on the official Dead by Daylight Discord today at 11 AM UTC, walking players through balance changes and new gameplay mechanics in patch 9.2.0, including tunneling and unhook protection updates. The PTB is available now on Steam, with the full chapter slated for release later this month.
