Jennifer Aniston Compares Filming “The Morning Show” to Childbirth, Shares Beauty Secrets

Jennifer Aniston opened up in Glamour magazine’s September 2025 cover story published today, saying filming Apple TV+’s hit drama The Morning Show feels “like childbirth” and detailing how she maintains her youthful appearance.

In the interview released Wednesday, the 56-year-old actress described the emotional intensity of shooting each season of The Morning Show, likening the process to “pushing a watermelon out of a tiny little pinhole.” She explained that wrapping a season leaves her feeling as though she’s “dead,” only to “do it all over again” the following year. Aniston said she needs time to “decompress” after filming before jumping into lighter, comedic projects.

Alongside her co-stars Reese Witherspoon, Nicole Beharie, Marion Cotillard, and Karen Pittman, Aniston appears on Glamour’s cover, reflecting on the grind of award-season campaigning and the physical and mental demands of high-stakes television production.

In a separate Q&A excerpt released today by AOL, Aniston revealed her approach to “aging gracefully,” crediting an “eternal fountain of optimism and positivity” for her outlook. She acknowledged relying on facials, laser treatments, and a disciplined fitness regimen, while emphasizing mindset over drastic procedures. “I’m maintained. I’m not going to just go down and let these gray hairs take over,” she quipped, adding that loving your body and where you are is key to staying youthful.

These candid remarks follow Aniston’s recent reflection on her red-carpet choices; despite invitations to the Met Gala, she confirmed she’s never attended due to the overwhelming “mental game” of preparing for fashion’s biggest night.
