MrBeast Explores Launching His Own Phone Company

September 3, 2025 - Los Angeles Jimmy “MrBeast” Donaldson, the YouTube phenomenon known for his high-stakes challenges and massive giveaways, is reportedly preparing to enter the telecommunications industry by launching a branded mobile phone service.
According to reports based on a leaked investor presentation reviewed by Business Insider, Donaldson’s venture would operate as a mobile virtual network operator (MVNO), leasing network capacity from established carriers such as Verizon, T-Mobile or AT&T to deliver competitive service under the MrBeast brand. An MVNO model would allow him to provide affordable pricing and nationwide coverage without the expense of building his own network infrastructure.
Sources familiar with the plan say MrBeast’s team is simultaneously exploring opportunities in fintech and mobile gaming, but the mobile service project is not considered an immediate priority. While an exact launch date has not been confirmed, the investor deck suggests the phone business could debut in 2026.
This latest initiative is part of Donaldson’s broader strategy to diversify his rapidly growing media empire. His existing ventures include Feastables, a snack company reporting over $250 million in sales last year, Lunchly, and the virtual restaurant chain MrBeast Burger. Despite amassing more than 430 million YouTube subscribers, his media business reportedly operated at an $80 million loss in the past year, making new revenue streams a strategic imperative.
Social media has already begun buzzing over the potential service, with fans speculating that even a small fraction of his vast audience could propel MrBeast’s MVNO to success. Observers note the model mirrors that of Ryan Reynolds’ Mint Mobile, which leveraged celebrity branding to secure a lucrative acquisition by T-Mobile for $1.35 billion in 2023.
As MrBeast continues to push the boundaries of creator-driven business, industry watchers will be listening closely for official announcements and details on pricing, network partners and subscriber incentives when the company formally unveils its mobile service offering.
