MTV VMAs Reveal Star-Studded Presenter Lineup MTV today unveiled a diverse roster of presenters for the upcoming 2025 Video Music Awards, airing live on CBS and MTV from UBS Arena in New York on Sept. 7 at 8 p.m. ET. The lineup includes Ashlee Simpson Ross, Brittany Snow, Ciara, Drew Barrymore, Jessica Simpson, Ice Spice, Latto, Paris Hilton, and “K-Pop Demon Hunters” stars EJAE, Rei Ami, and Audrey Nuna, among others. The pre-show and Extended Play Stage, presented by Doritos®, will feature hosts Nessa and Kevan Kenney, with performances by breakout group KATSEYE and first-time nominees Bailey Zimmerman, Lola Young, and Megan Moroney.

Lady Gaga Drops New Single “The Dead Dance” Coinciding with the premiere of Netflix’s Wednesday Season 2, MTV announced that Lady Gaga’s new song “The Dead Dance” is being released today. The track will debut online as fans tune into the series finale, marking Gaga’s return to the MTV spotlight ahead of her performance at the VMAs, where she leads this year’s nominations with twelve.

Fan Voting Continues Through September 5 Voting for 19 VMA categories remains open on MTV’s website until 6 p.m. ET on Sept. 5 (with the Best New Artist category accepting votes through the live broadcast). Fans may cast up to ten votes per day per category as they support their favorite nominees.

Hosts and Honorees LL Cool J will host his first solo VMAs ceremony, while Mariah Carey will receive the Video Vanguard Award, Busta Rhymes the inaugural Rock the Bells Visionary Award, and Ricky Martin the first-ever Latin Icon Award, all set to perform during the live broadcast.
