The 72-year-old neurobiology and otolaryngology professor was reported missing by her family on Monday, September 1, after she left her home for a walk and failed to return.
On Tuesday, September 2, Evanston Police located Professor Kraus near her residence on the 1500 block of Ashland Avenue and transported her to a local hospital for evaluation and treatment.
