Cooper DeJean Launches “Coop’s Crunch” Cereal to Benefit Iowa Children’s Hospital

September 4, 2025 | PHILADELPHIA - Former Iowa Hawkeye and Super Bowl LIX champion Cooper DeJean announced today the launch of Coop’s Crunch Cereal, with all proceeds directed to the University of Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital. The initiative was unveiled at a press event in Philadelphia, where DeJean described the project as “a chance to give back to the community that shaped me.”

Coop’s Crunch - available in two-pack and twelve-pack boxes priced at $24.95 and $119.95, respectively - can be purchased at select Hy-Vee and Dick’s Sporting Goods locations, as well as through an online storefront on DeJean’s official website. A custom-branded cereal bowl is also being offered for $8.99.

DeJean, who recorded 51 tackles, six pass breakups, one forced fumble, and three fumble recoveries during his rookie NFL season and returned an interception 38 yards for a touchdown in the Eagles’ Super Bowl victory, emphasized the importance of supporting pediatric care. “I’ve been fortunate on and off the field,” he said. “This cereal is my way of making a positive impact for kids and families facing real challenges.”

Hospital officials welcomed the collaboration, noting that funds raised will underwrite new research initiatives and patient support services at the Stead Family Children’s Hospital overlooking Kinnick Stadium. The cereal launch follows DeJean’s record-setting interception in Super Bowl LIX and caps off a whirlwind summer of community engagement for the young cornerback.
