LEGO Star Wars™ Unveils the Ultimate Death Star™ Set

Billund, Denmark, 4 September 2025 - The LEGO® Group today revealed its most ambitious collaboration with the Star Wars™ franchise: the Death Star™ - Ultimate Collector Series (75419). Clocking in at 9,023 pieces, this half-sphere diorama brings to life iconic moments from Star Wars: A New Hope through Return of the Jedi in unprecedented detail.

Fans can immerse themselves in meticulously recreated scenes, including:

The trash compactor where Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia faced certain doom
Emperor Palpatine’s throne room under the vast superlaser array
Princess Leia’s detention cell and the tractor beam control unit
The Imperial shuttle hangar complete with a surprise “Hot Tub Stormtrooper” Easter egg All housed within a compact, layered vertical build that measures over 52 cm high and 48 cm wide.

Priced at $999.99 USD (£899.99 GBP / €999.99 EUR), this set becomes the first LEGO® Star Wars™ kit to breach the four-figure mark, reflecting its status as both a display piece and a collector’s conversation starter. The build includes 38 minifigures, featuring Luke Skywalker (in Jedi and stormtrooper variants), Han Solo, Darth Vader, Emperor Palpatine, Grand Moff Tarkin, and more.

Pre-release festivities will span select LEGO® Store locations in the UK on 1 October 2025, where VIP signing sessions and early-access build parties will run from 9 am to 10 am with limited tickets available at each of four participating stores.

The Death Star™ (75419) will be available for LEGO® Insiders Early Access from 1 October, followed by a global release on 4 October 2025 via LEGO.com/Star-Wars and official LEGO® Stores. Purchasers between 1-7 October will receive a complementary TIE Fighter™ with Imperial Hangar Rack (40771) as a gift-with-purchase, while stocks last.
