New York, Sept. 4, 2025 - Today’s Mega Millions news centers on the results of the Tuesday, September 2 drawing and the anticipation building ahead of Friday’s drawing.
In Tuesday night’s drawing, the winning numbers were 7, 17, 35, 40, 64 and the Mega Ball 23. The estimated annuitized jackpot stood at $302 million, with a cash option of approximately $151 million. There were no jackpot winners, and no players matched all five white balls plus the Mega Ball.
Prizes in the lower tiers were claimed as follows:
- One player hit four white balls (4 of 5) for $500.
- Two tickets matched three white balls plus the Mega Ball (3 + MB) for $200 each.
- Numerous tickets won smaller prizes across other tiers.
