Powerball Drawing for September 3, 2025: No Jackpot Winner, $1.40 Billion Rollover

Washington, D.C., September 4, 2025 - Wednesday’s Powerball drawing produced no jackpot winner, leaving the estimated grand prize at $1.40 billion for Saturday’s drawing. The winning numbers drawn on September 3 were 3, 16, 29, 61, 69 with a Powerball of 22.

The jackpot, the fifth-largest in Powerball history, offers the option of a lump-sum cash payment of approximately $634.3 million before taxes or 29 annual installments that increase by 5% each year.

Although no player matched all six numbers, thousands of secondary prize winners were announced:

  • Eleven players matched five white balls to win $1 million.
  • One hundred seventeen players matched four white balls plus the Powerball (Power Play not applied) to win $50,000.
  • Over 3,400 tickets matched four white balls for $100 each, and nearly 9,000 matched three white balls plus the Powerball for $100 each.
  • More than 220,000 tickets won $7 for matching two white balls plus the Powerball, and over 180,000 tickets won $7 for matching just the Powerball.

The Power Play option, for an extra $1 per play, multiplied secondary prizes by two for this drawing. No Power Play ticket matched all five white balls plus Powerball to win the $2 million prize, but four tickets won $2 million for matching five white balls with Power Play, and 36 tickets won $100,000 for matching four balls plus Power Play.

With no grand prize winner, the jackpot will continue to climb, approaching record territory ahead of Saturday’s drawing. Players have until 10:59 p.m. Eastern on Saturday to purchase tickets for another chance at the historic prize.
