Today’s Entertainment News: ‘The Paper’ Makes U.K. Debut

London, September 5, 2025 - The long-anticipated mockumentary spinoff of The Office, The Paper, premieres in the United Kingdom today. U.K. viewers can catch the first two episodes at 9:00 p.m. BST on Sky Max, with subsequent instalments following in double-bill format each Friday through early October. All ten episodes are also available to binge-watch on the streaming service NOW starting today.

The series, created by Greg Daniels and Michael Koman, follows the documentary crew that chronicled Dunder Mifflin’s Scranton branch as they turn their cameras on the struggling Toledo Truth-Teller newspaper. Domhnall Gleeson stars as editor-in-chief Ned Sampson, joined by Sabrina Impacciatore, Chelsea Frei, Melvin Gregg, Gbemisola Ikumelo, Alex Edelman, Ramona Young, Tim Key-and returning Office alum Oscar Nuñez as accountant Oscar Martinez.
