Eswatini Marks 57th Independence Day with National Celebrations and Economic Calls

Mbabane, Eswatini (September 6, 2025) - Eswatini commemorated its 57th Independence Day with a ceremony in Lobamba and simultaneous events promoting trade and investment across the kingdom. King Mswati III and Prime Minister Russell Dlamini led festivities, while international partners extended congratulations and reaffirmed support.

A national parade and wreath-laying ceremony at Lobamba Palace underscored Eswatini’s unity under its absolute monarchy, as King Mswati III presided over the raising of the national flag and delivered remarks on sovereignty and tradition.
