NFL Sunday Ticket Kicks Off with Free Trial and Bar-Streaming Option

NFL Sunday Ticket launched today, offering fans a one-week free trial through YouTube and a new Sports Bar Finder app for free in-person viewing at participating bars and restaurants. Verizon customers can also stream the package “on us” under a limited-time promotion.
The premium package, which streams all out-of-market Sunday afternoon games, begins its 2025 season rollout with a suite of new access options designed to broaden viewership and offset high subscription prices. Fans now have multiple ways to watch games live without committing to the full season cost.
NFL Sunday Ticket One-Week Free Trial
YouTube today activated a seven-day free trial for new subscribers to NFL Sunday Ticket, allowing unrestricted access to out-of-market games through Sunday, September 14. Subscribers who do not cancel before the trial ends will be automatically billed for the full-season price of $276 for new users or up to $480 for returning customers.
Sports Bar Finder App for Free In-Person Viewing
DirecTV’s Sports Bar Finder web app now pinpoints local bars and restaurants carrying NFL Sunday Ticket at no cost to patrons. By entering a ZIP code or sharing location data, fans can filter venues by the Sunday Ticket badge and amenities such as Wi-Fi or group seating. Users are advised to call ahead to confirm game availability and avoid last-minute surprises.
Verizon “On Us” Promotion
Starting today, qualifying Verizon mobile and 5G Home Internet customers can redeem NFL Sunday Ticket at no charge for the 2025 regular season-an offer valued at up to $480. Existing customers need only upgrade to select plans or devices, while new subscribers who add a line or home internet service also qualify. Those outside Verizon’s promotion can still purchase the package at a discounted rate of $276 via YouTube or YouTube TV.
Subscription Options and Features
- Full-Season Pass: Paid upfront or in eight monthly installments; includes NFL RedZone add-on options.
- Month-to-Month Plan: $85 per month (plus $10 for RedZone) with no long-term commitment.
- Multiview: Watch up to four games simultaneously, with user-built layouts and integrated RedZone streams.
- Student and Military Discounts: Special rates as low as $119 for students and $198 for veterans and first responders through select partners.
