Softball Team Bus Overturns Near Minco, Injuring Multiple

A school bus carrying the Minco High School girls’ softball team rolled over on U.S. Highway 152 west of Minco Monday evening, ejecting several passengers and leaving multiple students and staff critically injured.

The crash, which occurred just before 8 p.m. on September 8, forced authorities to close all east- and westbound lanes of SH-152/SH-37 at County Road 2760. Local and state agencies responded immediately, and injured individuals were airlifted and transported to Oklahoma City-area hospitals.
