Peacock Reveals Star-Studded Cast for Love Island Games Season 2

Peacock announced the lineup of 14 international islanders competing in Love Island Games Season 2, premiering September 16 with major format changes.
The streaming service unveiled fan-favorite contestants from Love Island franchises across the UK, USA, France, Malta, Belgium, and the Netherlands, marking a significant expansion of the competition dating series. The announcement comes exactly one week before the show’s highly anticipated return to Fiji.
Real-Time Format Debuts
Season 2 introduces a groundbreaking real-time broadcasting format, allowing viewers to influence the competition through live voting via the Love Island USA app. This represents a major shift from the first season, which was pre-recorded months before airing.
“Viewers will have the opportunity to vote for their preferred couples via the Love Island USA app, influencing which Islanders will pair up and who will be eliminated,” Peacock confirmed in today’s announcement.
Notable Cast Returns
The initial roster features several prominent reality TV personalities, including Andrea Carmona from Love Island USA Season 6, who referenced her previous experience saying, “Last season I got robbed, but it’s only up from here for me”.
Christopher Seeley and Charlie Georgiou, both from Love Island USA Season 7, will also compete for the $100,000 prize. Additionally, Solene Favreau, known from both Love Island France and Bravo’s Below Deck Season 11, joins the international lineup.
Production Details
Ariana Madix returns as host, with Maura Higgins continuing as host of the weekly after-show Love Island Aftersun. The two-hour premiere airs Tuesday, September 16 at 9 p.m. ET on Peacock, followed by daily episodes at 6 p.m. PT/9 p.m. ET during premiere week.
Episodes will subsequently stream Thursday through Tuesday each week, maintaining the accelerated schedule that made the original series popular.
Competition Format
Contestants will participate in both couple and team challenges while navigating the traditional Love Island elements of dating, eliminations, recouplings, and surprise arrivals. The addition of competitive elements and viewer voting creates a hybrid format combining romance and game show elements.
Additional islanders will enter the villa throughout the season, following the franchise’s established pattern of introducing “bombshells” to disrupt existing relationships and alliances.
