Marvel Rivals Launches Season 4 “Heart of the Dragon” with Angela and New Content

Lead: Marvel Rivals rolled out Season 4, titled “Heart of the Dragon,” today, September 12, at 9 AM UTC, adding Vanguard hero Angela, fresh maps, modes and a Fruit of Immortality Battle Pass for players worldwide.

New Hero: Angela Takes Flight

Angela, Thor’s sister and a flying Vanguard, debuts at launch with her Ichors spear, dual axes and summonable shield, enabling dive-heavy combat and frontline control. Her Team-Up Anchor bonus empowers Thor with a Thunder Spear leap for additional burst damage.

Battle Pass & Cosmetics

Season 4’s Fruit of Immortality Battle Pass offers 10 costume sets-including two free skins-and a limited-time event skin available at launch. Later waves will deliver summer swimsuit outfits for Fantastic Four members, Mantis and Punisher, plus additional accessories.

Maps & Modes Expansion

  • K’un-Lun: Heart of Heaven debuts September 26 as a new Convergence map.
  • Free Fight mode removes hero restrictions; Conquest (Annihilation) returns for point-based eliminations.
