BETHLEHEM, Pa. (Sept. 12, 2025) - Academy Award-winning actor Morgan Freeman brought his Symphonic Blues Experience to Lehigh University’s Zoellner Arts Center, where the show sold out within days of its announcement and drew a capacity crowd eager to celebrate the Mississippi Delta’s musical heritage.

Nut Graf Merging Freeman’s narration with live performances by young blues artists and a full symphony orchestra, Symphonic Blues bridges American roots music with classical grandeur. Friday’s performance underscores Freeman’s decades-long commitment to preserving the blues, from his Clarksdale, Mississippi, Ground Zero Blues Club to international concert halls.
