NORTH CAROLINA A&T, Greensboro (Sept. 13, 2025) - North Carolina A&T spoiled Hampton’s CAA opener with a 33-30 victory in double overtime at Truist Stadium, riding late-game resilience and clutch defense to seal the win.

In a season-defining debut, the Aggies snapped Hampton’s recent dominance in Greensboro, capturing the school’s first 2OT road victory since 2018 and setting an early conference tone.

Key Moments

Hampton struck first on Isaiah Freeman’s 12-yard TD pass in the opening quarter, but the Aggies answered with a Cam Thomas rushing touchdown to tie at 7-7 by halftime.
North Carolina A&T surged ahead 17-13 in the fourth quarter on a late field goal, only for Hampton’s Ja’Quan Snipes to rush in a tying score with 28 seconds remaining in regulation.
