Savannah Bananas Sell Out Yankee Stadium Debut

Bronx, NY (September 13, 2025) - In their first‐ever appearance at Yankee Stadium, the Savannah Bananas sold out both September 13 and 14 exhibition games against the Firefighters, bringing their high‐energy “Banana Ball” spectacle to New York’s most famous ballpark.

The barnstorming Bananas, known for fast‐paced, fan-driven rules-every inning counts as one point, games capped at two hours, no bunting or mound visits, and foul balls caught by spectators recorded as outs-filled the stands for tonight’s 7 p.m. ET matchup, marking a major milestone in the team’s rapid ascension on the national stage.

Debut at the “House That Ruth Built”

Moving into the Bronx spotlight for the first time, the Bananas transformed Yankee Stadium into a carnival of baseball meets Broadway. Players sprinted on balls four, stole first base at will, and performed choreographed dances between innings.
