FDA Recalls Popular Boxed Mac & Cheese Over Undeclared Allergens

Lead The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has announced a nationwide recall of Goodles boxed macaroni and cheese after eight allergic reactions linked to undeclared milk and cashew allergens emerged on Sept. 14, 2025.
Nut Graf Gooder Foods, Inc. initiated the voluntary recall following customer reports of severe reactions, prompting the FDA to warn consumers of life-threatening risks for those with dairy or nut allergies. The recall affects two plant-based varieties sold at major retailers.

Consumer Guidance Consumers with either product should immediately stop consumption and return the item to the place of purchase for a full refund. Those experiencing symptoms such as hives, difficulty breathing, dizziness or anaphylaxis should seek emergency medical attention.
FDA and Company Actions Gooder Foods notified the FDA on Sept. 10 and issued a press release detailing lot codes and contact information for further inquiries. The FDA continues to monitor adverse event reports and urges retailers to remove affected stock.
