FaZe Temperrr Admits Relationship with 17-Year-Old After Pedophile Allegations

FaZe Clan co-founder Thomas “Temperrr” Oliveira acknowledged having a sexual encounter with a 17-year-old in New York while denying pedophile allegations made by former member FaZe Rain on September 15.

The admission came after explosive accusations surfaced during former FaZe Clan member Nordan “Rain” Shat’s livestream on September 14, where he claimed a “pedophile” within the organization was the “final straw” that led to his departure from the gaming collective.

Rain’s Explosive Allegations

Rain initially disclosed during his stream that he left FaZe Clan because “there was a f***ing pedophile involved too,” describing the situation as having weighed on him for two years. He later identified Temperrr as the individual, claiming the co-founder had told him about having “a threesome with two 16-year-olds”.

The allegations prompted immediate responses from other FaZe figures, with former CEO Richard “Banks” Bengtson clarifying he was not involved and confirming Rain was referring to Temperrr.

“The fact that I’m even having to respond to this, and that my name is in the same breath as the word pedophile is so sick, twisted, and insane,” Temperrr stated in his first video.

Hours later, Temperrr released a second, more detailed statement explaining the circumstances behind the allegations. He admitted to having a sexual encounter with a 17-year-old during a period of “destructive behavior” following a breakup with his now-wife Emma Smith.

In his clarification video, Temperrr described attending a 21+ club in New York with a friend, where he met several women. He explained that after heavy drinking, he went back to his hotel room with the women and had sexual relations with one of them.

“I slept with one of them, and I found out after this girl was 17. That’s the age of consent in New York, but regardless I was sick to my stomach. It was extremely uncomfortable knowing that and the situation,” Temperrr explained.

The age of consent in New York is indeed 17, making the encounter legal, though Temperrr emphasized his discomfort upon learning the woman’s age after the fact.

Blackmail Accusations and Family Impact

Temperrr maintained that Rain’s motivations were financial, alleging that during a phone call with Banks and another FaZe member called Apex, Rain had stated “if you don’t get paid that, you are going to air this out”.

The FaZe co-founder also expressed concern about the impact on his family, particularly his young son and wife Emma Smith. “When I bring my son to school, and the other parents figure out who his dad is, and now they’re associating me with that word. You don’t even understand the levels of damage that you just inflicted into my life,” he stated.

Rain’s Response to Admission

Following Temperrr’s clarification, Rain disputed the claim that Temperrr was unaware of the woman’s age initially. During his own stream response, Rain argued that if Temperrr had mentioned not knowing the age during their original conversations, he wouldn’t have made the allegations public.

“I don’t believe he knew after, he would have said something. He had two opportunities to tell me that, when he initially told me and the call. He didn’t tell us,” Rain stated.
