Adrien Broner Ordered to Jail, Booted from Cam’ron’s Show for Misconduct

Lead Boxing star Adrien Broner was ordered to serve 30 days in jail for contempt of court and was abruptly removed from rapper Cam’ron’s podcast on Tuesday after making inappropriate comments toward a co-host.
Nut Graf Broner’s jail sentence stems from his failure to appear on time for a hearing in Cincinnati over a 2024 assault case, prompting Judge Robert Ruehlman to hold him in contempt and impose immediate custody. On the same day, Broner’s on-air behavior drew rebuke when he repeatedly flirted with Treasure “Stat Baby” Wilson on It Is What It Is, leading host Cam’ron to cut the interview short.
Judicial Contempt and Jail Sentence Broner arrived more than three hours late for a September 16 hearing in Hamilton County Common Pleas Court, where he faced allegations of beating a man during a January dispute. Judge Ruehlman, noting Broner appeared “hungover,” ordered him into custody and imposed a 30-day jail term for contempt, with Broner due back in court upon release.
Podcast Ejection over Inappropriate Remarks Earlier Tuesday, Broner appeared on Cam’ron’s It Is What It Is podcast in New York City. Shortly into the episode, he turned from boxing topics to pursue Treasure “Stat Baby” Wilson with persistent compliments-telling her “I love you” and commenting on her appearance despite warnings. Cam’ron intervened and paid Broner for his time before escorting him off the set, emphasizing the need for respect toward co-hosts and their guests.
Boxing Hiatus and Future Plans Broner has not fought since a June 2024 loss to Blair Cobbs and faces mounting legal and professional hurdles. He claims a comeback bout in January will generate sufficient funds to satisfy outstanding judgments, but his recent conduct raises fresh doubts about his focus and public image.
