Superman Soars onto HBO Max Sept. 19

Superman, the James Gunn-directed DCU blockbuster, will begin streaming on HBO Max on Friday, September 19, 2025, Warner Bros. Discovery has confirmed. The home premiere arrives just over two months after its July theatrical debut and follows a record-breaking $615 million global box-office run.

Hidden Lex Luthor Portals: Easter-egg portals throughout the app transporting users to Lex’s Pocket Prison.

Subscribers can also catch the film’s linear debut on HBO on Saturday, September 20 at 8 p.m. ET, ensuring fans without streaming access don’t miss the event.

At 70 days post-theatrical release, Superman’s streaming debut undercuts the traditional 90-day window, reflecting Warner Bros.’ goal of aligning its digital strategy with Peacemaker Season 2’s storyline.
