BAKERSFIELD, Sept. 18, 2025 - The Kern County Fair in Bakersfield opened today with a full slate of live performances led by country star Gabby Barrett, enhanced security measures and a lineup of family-friendly attractions amid the threat of afternoon showers.

The fair’s second day delivers headline entertainment and community features that underscore its appeal as a regional showcase.
