Bad Bunny Announces Surprise Final Puerto Rico Concert and Global Livestream

Bad Bunny revealed today that he has added a surprise final show to his historic “No Me Quiero Ir de Aquí” residency at San Juan’s Coliseo José Miguel Agrelot on September 20, and will livestream the performance worldwide free of charge. The announcement coincides with details of official watch parties, including a New York City event hosted by NYLFF 25 and Amazon Music.
The extra date caps off a record-setting run of sold-out concerts, giving fans one last chance to see the Grammy-winning superstar-and inviting a global audience to join in real time. The livestream initiative underscores Bad Bunny’s commitment to Puerto Rico, marking the eighth anniversary of Hurricane Maria and supporting local communities through Amazon-backed initiatives.
Residency Finale and Livestream Details
Bad Bunny’s “No Me Quiero Ir de Aquí” residency, which began in July, has spanned 30 consecutive sold-out shows at El Choli, drawing hundreds of thousands of fans and generating an estimated $400 million boost to Puerto Rico’s economy. Today’s surprise announcement adds a 31st concert scheduled for Saturday, September 20 at 8:30 p.m. ET (5:30 p.m. PT).
Amazon Music, Prime Video and Twitch will carry the livestream-completely free-offering fans worldwide front-row access. Prime members can watch at no extra cost, and the broadcast will be available on replay for 24 hours after the live show.
Watch Parties and Cultural Impact
To celebrate, NYLFF 25 and Amazon Music are hosting an official watch party in New York City, bringing together Latin music aficionados for a communal viewing experience. Additional events are planned in major markets to honor Bad Bunny’s influence and Puerto Rican pride.
This concert not only marks a milestone in Bad Bunny’s career but also serves as a cultural celebration and economic catalyst for his homeland. Alongside the performance, Amazon and Bad Bunny are launching:
- comPRa Local: an online storefront featuring Puerto Rican products with a “Hecho en PR” badge, supporting local artisans and farmers.
- Education & Disaster Relief: STEM programs and safe-space initiatives that double as hurricane shelters, in partnership with the Good Bunny Foundation.
Legacy Beyond the Stage
Bad Bunny’s residency has spotlighted Puerto Rican identity on the global stage, with each performance weaving music and cultural pride while driving tourism during a typically slow season. As fans prepare to tune in across time zones, the “Una Más” concert will stand as both a farewell and a tribute-cementing Bad Bunny’s legacy as an icon who blends artistic innovation with community empowerment.
