LOS ANGELES, Sept. 19, 2025 - Brad Everett Young, a 46-year-old actor known for his appearance as an appendectomy patient on Grey’s Anatomy, died Sunday night when his car was struck by a wrong-way driver on the 134 Freeway in Los Angeles.
Young’s dual careers in acting and celebrity photography made him a fixture of Hollywood, and his sudden death underscores the fragility of life on the road and behind the scenes.

- The collision occurred late Sunday, Sept. 14, after Young left a film screening, when another vehicle traveling eastbound in the westbound lanes collided head-on with his car.
