Singer d4vd Not Arrested as Investigation Continues into Teen’s Death

Lead Los Angeles police have not arrested singer d4vd even as investigators execute search warrants and gather evidence in the case of a teenage girl found dead in his impounded Tesla on Sept. 8.

Nut Graf Authorities emphasise that David Anthony Burke, known as d4vd, remains a cooperating party, not a suspect, as detectives seek to determine how 15-year-old Celeste Rivas came to be inside his vehicle.

Evidence Collection Detectives served a search warrant at a Hollywood Hills residence rented by d4vd’s manager, seizing computers and other items for forensic analysis. Authorities continue examining social media photos and videos for links between Burke and the missing girl.

Medical Examiner’s Findings The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner identified the remains as Rivas’s based on her height, weight, and a distinctive “Shhh…” tattoo matching one on the singer’s finger. The office has deferred ruling on cause and manner of death pending further tests.

Tour Disruptions Burke, who rose to fame with TikTok hits “Romantic Homicide” and “Here with Me,” canceled his Seattle show on Sept. 16. His upcoming performances in San Francisco and Los Angeles remain on sale, though promoters are monitoring the investigation’s progress.

Next Steps LAPD’s Robbery-Homicide Division awaits toxicology and pathology reports before determining a homicide classification. No persons of interest have been named, and d4vd has not faced charges while the probe continues.
