UAE Advances AI Leadership as Public Prosecution Hosts BRICS Meeting in Abu Dhabi

G42 Bolsters Global AI Standing Abu Dhabi-based technology firm G42 unveiled new partnerships with leading international research institutions to accelerate AI innovation across healthcare, energy and climate modeling. The company’s CEO highlighted plans to launch three AI research centers in Europe and Asia by mid-2026, aiming to drive practical applications that address global challenges.
UAE-BRICS Judicial Cooperation Peaks In parallel, the UAE Public Prosecution hosted the 7th Meeting of Heads of Prosecution Services of BRICS nations. Delegates from Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa convened under the chairmanship of the UAE’s Attorney General to discuss cross-border crime prevention, evidence-sharing protocols and capacity-building initiatives. A joint declaration committed members to establish a unified legal training academy in Abu Dhabi by 2027.
Non-Oil Trade Growth Continues Building on strong economic ties with India, the UAE-India Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement helped non-oil trade surge to USD 37.6 billion in the first half of 2025, a 33.9 percent increase year-on-year, according to government figures.
