Multiple Shot, Including One Fatality, at Sky Meadow Country Club

Nashua, N.H. - A suspect was detained after a shooting at Sky Meadow Country Club on Saturday night left one person dead and several wounded, local authorities said.

A private country club wedding reception turned tragic when an armed individual opened fire around 8 p.m., injuring multiple guests and fatally wounding one adult male. The Nashua Police Department confirmed that surveillance footage identified a single shooter, who was taken into custody on-site, and assured the public there is no ongoing threat.

Incident Details

The gunfire erupted at approximately 8 p.m. on Mountain Laurels Drive during a private event at the club’s restaurant and adjoining function hall.
Initial reports indicated two suspects, but video evidence later confirmed only one assailant fired rounds and was apprehended by responding officers.
The deceased victim and the condition of others remain undisclosed as investigations continue.

Nashua police, assisted by New Hampshire State Police, secured the scene and urged residents to avoid the area of Sky Meadow while crime-scene processing was underway.
Nearby Dunstable, Massachusetts, briefly issued a shelter-in-place advisory for adjacent streets until authorities deemed the area safe.
