LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight Announced at Gamescom 2025

**GAMING NEWS - August 19, 2025:** Warner Bros. Games and TT Games announced LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight. This new open-world action-adventure follows Bruce Wayne as he transforms from a rookie vigilante into a Gotham legend. The reveal happened at Gamescom’s Opening Night Live. Fans enjoyed an extended trailer. It showed gameplay, voice talent, and a first look at Gotham City in LEGO bricks.

The game covers many eras of Batman lore. It pulls ideas from films, TV shows, comics, and past games. Players can team up with iconic allies like Robin, Batgirl, Commissioner Gordon, and Batwoman. Each has unique accessories and abilities. The developers promise a smart combat system. It has adjustable difficulty settings. This lets both experienced gamers and newcomers enjoy the block-based fights.

Villains include a LEGO-fied Joker, Penguin, Catwoman, and Bane. Bane is voiced by comedian Matt Berry, who captures Tom Hardy’s memorable take on the strong foe.
